I don't even know how long it's been since I've taken readers on a tour of our booth displays at the antique mall where my Panoply sisters & I have rented space since 2008. That's about to change right now. We cleaned and reset most of our entire 500 sq feet of rented space on August 31, so let me take you through our current vignettes now. (Photo heavy, deserves beverage and possible snack while viewing).
We put this cheeky witch's legs and cauldron together, along with her little minion guard dogs. The mannequin feet beneath are just weird attractions. We figured if we were attracted to them, someone else might be too, lol.
Another shelf display in this area lends itself to both fall and Thanksgiving. We acquired a rafter of turkeys!
Pictured below, a Crescent brand solid cherry cocktail table with Japanese silkscreen resting on it. You may have recognized the silkscreen. It was an auction purchase I made several years ago and had hanging in our condo.
We always keep a nice stock of vintage linens, both dressy and casual - hankies, collars, doilies, runners, table toppers, pillowcases, napkins, tablecloths, aprons, feed sacks, grain sacks, quilts - you name it, we pretty much stock it.
We have a few cases of smalls that we also keep stocked with a variety of items.
Other areas of our booth spaces will be tweaked in the next week or two, but here are a few more photos that give you an idea of our overall space sizes.
Little did I know when I was in the antique mall on the 7th and took the item below in, would I, less than twenty-four hours later, hear of the passing of the Queen. God Bless Queen Elizabeth. RIP, Queen.
If ever you're traveling through West Virginia, whether it's via I-64, I-77 or I-79, and you find yourself coming anywhere near the capital city of Charleston where the three interstates intersect, be sure to check out the South Charleston Antique Mall. It will be worth your stop. We are conveniently located off of I-64 at Exit 56 (easy on/off), at 617 D Street, South Charleston, WV 25303. We are open every day except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, M-F 10am - 6pm; Sundays Noon - 5pm.
My Panoply sisters and I are located on the first floor of the antique mall, which has three floors and a mezzanine of nearly 70 dealers in all. Travelers and locals love stopping by. Thanks for your virtual visit today!
