Hello, and welcome to my blog, Panoply. Whether you're a new visitor or longtime reader, I'm so happy you're here. It's March, and I'm feeling spring! Today I have a tablescape for you, Feeling Spring with Pink and Green.
My tablescape is but one of sixteen being shared today in a blog hop I'm hosting. You will find all the links to those participating today near the end of this post.
It's always a day of anticipation for me when hosting these tablescape hops. Each blogger creates their own spin on the seasonal subject in ways that consistently blows me away in terms of inspiring creativity. Hopefully, you'll feel some of that same inspiration. So let's get to it, shall we?
Y'all, it's been a long winter. Finally, we are starting to see signs of spring, though. Getting outside on an 80° day last Friday gave me the chance to see all the green emerging, and signs of buds and new perennial growth. It feels like spring is here. So out came pink and green for my table.
My table elements that weren't already part of my tabletop inventory were mostly sourced last summer. I'd been eyeing the ruffled placemats and napkins like a hawk, watching and waiting for a markdown, and pounced when they went on sale. The same thing was true with the salad plates. I particularly liked the undulating edge of these hand-fired and painted plates from Portugal. These were originally available in both pink and blue colorways, but it appears only blue is available now. I love that either colorway would go well with my green majolica plates. This blown glass vase reminds me of Italian millefiori design (a thousand flowers). It was made by a West Virginia glassmaker who works at Blenko Glass Co. This is not a Blenko design, though, it is the artist's own. I bought white roses for the table, a simple choice.
The salt & pepper shakers were a gift with loyalty points earned from past purchases with Juliska. As a gardener, I love the little topiary shapes. The color block tablecloth was new this year. I couldn't believe how perfectly coordinated it is to the napkins' pattern.
The little bunny napkin rings were part of a basket of linens bought at a recent estate sale. On the side of each is a pink flower.
Moss bunnies also flank the ends of the table with the rosy check bunny plates. Those, as well as the roses on the table's center rest on raffia placemats to bring a color cohesiveness and to ground the pattern of the tablecloth. It's a preppy, fun and casual look for the season of spring, and equally suitable for an Easter brunch or lunch.

The pink and green combination is a favorite of mine! Your tablescape is luscious!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Rita, Your pink and green table is such a breath of spring! That color combination is so cheerful, and you’ve layered it so beautifully. I especially love the pattern play of your linens, as well as your plate stack and how the soft pinks play against the fresh greens…it feels like the garden has come right to the table. You always have the most wonderful mix of vintage treasures and unique pieces that make your tables so interesting. Thank you for hosting another wonderful hop and gathering us all around your table for a little spring inspiration. I so appreciate your efforts! 💗💚
ReplyDeleteRita, you have brought the garden inside your home for a glimpse of spring to come. Your new tablecloth goes so well with your choice of dishes and I love the ruffled placemats you chose along with the matching napkins. Such pretty greens and pinks and adorable bunnies. The napkin rings were a great find and you can't go wrong with a "bunny" pitcher. Thanks so much for hosting this spring blog hop. It's a joy to be a part of this creative group.

Good morning, Rita. I love your preppy pink and green tabletop. I have long admired the pink and green combo, especially for a table. I agree with Mary, it seems that the garden has come to your table. The blending of linens is perfect with the raffia placemats offering lovely texture. The WS Aerin Garden Bouquet salad plates are beautiful and a great addition to your dishware. Charming napkin rings add a whimsical touch…you find the best pieces at antiques and estate sales. Moss bunnies always seem to hop onto one of my tables, they are the cutest. It is a pleasure to be a part of the blog hops and thank you for all of your work to make them a success! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Rita! I am a big fan of pairing pink and green and your charming table is absolutely perfect for spring! The bunny napkin rings are so cute and you've styled the pretty plates and linens beautifully. Pinning!
ReplyDeleteOops--not sure why my comment above posted anonymous, but it was me ;)
DeleteThat’s the most adorable tablescape! The details are really melting my, cold from this winter, heart. Who knew Juliska had salt and pepper shakers for Spring! I’m so out of the table game right now. Beautiful table Rita!

I adore this spring setting, especially the placemats and napkins! The napkin rings are too cute! As always, thanks for hosting
ReplyDeleteGood Morning sweet friend. Love the pink and green combo for your spring table. Love that table cloth. Everyone in your blog hop are showing such beautiful spring tables. Ahhh so happy Spring is coming. We are having spring weather in the 70's!!!!! Lovin it. Have a great week. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous elements Rita! The place settings are so pretty, and especially love the ombre glasses! So unique. The vase really got my eye, and at the first quick glance, it reminded me of a strawberry! The little bunny napkin rings and pitcher are darling. I love how we both chose to go with pink and green, yet each tables are so different! We are currently in fools spring here, with temps reaching 70 degrees on the weekend, but snow forecast later this week! Thank you for hosting, I too look forward to our blog hops with anticipation of the inspiration I will find :)
ReplyDeleteRita I have long admired the pink and green combination even when it was not popular...in fact, I am going to date myself, but when I was a teenager (a couple years ago😂) My first Home Ec Project was embroidery! Our teacher gave us instructions to purchase a 2 foot Linen rectangle and embroidery floss to make a small table runner. Much to my classmates chagrin, I chose bright pink linen and spring green floss! I loved it but even my family thought the colors should have been more subdued. Your beautiful table reminds me of my project. I LOVE it. I agree with Pam and Mary...your garden has hopped onto your lovely color block tablecloth. How patient you are to wait for a sale and find the ruffled placemats and napkins of your choice. (when I snooze, I lose) Thanks for organizing this hop, and this week...go Mountaineers and Jayhawks!🌸💚
ReplyDeleteRita, your table is adorable! I love the pink and green combination, that spells happiness to me! I almost did pink and green but I could not find the right plate to tie it all together like the wonderful floral salad plates that you used!! Perfect!! I also love your tablecloth, I think I used the same only in a different color. So many cute pieces, but your bunny pitcher and topiary salt and pepper shakers store my heart!! 🩷💚 Wishing you a joyous Spring🐇🌸🌿
ReplyDeleteRita, pink and green scream spring to me. I've been savoring the beauty of all the Texas Redbud blooms. One of mine has already transitioned into green leaf coverage, but there are still many in full bloom around town. Each spring I think, I should plant another Redbud.
ReplyDeleteI saw the beautiful Aerin Garden Bouquet at WS. We have a WS in a center where I grocery shop, so it's easy to pop in frequently. I'm thrilled you snagged a set of the pink! Love, love, love the linens and stemware. The ruffled edge on the napkins are next level fabulous! Your table is perfectly styled. I want to hop right into one of your chairs and linger for a bit. Thank you for hosting these tablescape blog hops. Each post offers inspiration, but also wonderful friendships across the miles.
Enjoy your spring gardening. I've been cleaning up and repotting many of my containers. I need to fertilize! A gardeners' work is never done!
Happy Spring, dear friend!
Rita, a lovely table to welcome spring. The pink and green are a favorite and you have certainly brought it. The Majolica dinner plates are lovely and those sweet WS scalloped salad plates are so pretty. Love the ruffled placemats. Your linens are so beautiful and perfect for a spring table. I love anything from Fitz and Floyd. The bunny pitcher and the bunny napkins rings are precious. Thank you for organizing all of us and allowing us to share our tables.
ReplyDeletePink and green has always been a favorite color combo of mine (am I too preppy? Maybe then, before I became too Land's End, but still love it!). Those placemats are the best and I love the gentle mix of colors. I always enjoy hearing how and where you sourced your table elements, especially the vintage things! I have a feeling you watch your incoming items like a hawk to find which to borrow, which to keep! It's so springy and lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of pink and green anytime, but particularly at spring. I also love bunnies, so I appreciate absolutely everything that you have at this table. That pitcher is so cute, as are the napkin rings. I think what impresses me the most are the gorgeous Salad Plates from Williams-Sonoma! How did I miss those? Thanks for hosting, as always, and thanks for the wonderful inspiration.

Rita, Your pink and green tablescape stole my heart. I love the coordination of patterns from the beautiful tablecloth, linens and your lovely Portuguese plates. They are all meant for each other. Your color choice of pink and green, in my opinion, speaks volumes and represents Spring so well. Of course, the little bunny napkin rings confirms that it is a Spring - Easter table. The white roses in your locally created vase is a delicate accent and complements all of the lovely patterns and does not compete with it. It is as refreshing as Spring itself. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt says "welcome spring" I love the pink and green combo. I have not added
hellebores to my spring gardens, I need to try it, I think they will survive the Wisconsin climate.
Carla
Definitely try them. They do well for me in Pennsylvania. 🙂
DeleteBeautiful tablescape! Thank you for such inspiration! Happy March.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the preppy colors of pink and green, Rita, and you did your table proud. The tablecloth is so pretty with your plates and gorgeous glassware. The bunny napkin rings and cute salt and pepper topiaries are so sweet. Of course your vase with roses is the perfect centerpiece. 💕💚💕
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table Rita - it all looks so wonderfully curated! I love it when a table comes together from diverse sources. The linens are just lovely and finding some on markdown is even better. The glassware is really striking and especially the ombre glasses; I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a reflection of something else I was seeing through the glass. Love love the Aerin salads. They blue ones are available here but this is the first time I've seen the pink. So pretty and they look fabulous on the majolica. The S & P's and the napkin rings are both darling. Thank you so much for hosting and I'm so happy for you that you are seeing spring in your area. Happy upcoming gardening season!
ReplyDeleteOh, Rita, you had me at Pink and Green. Your tablecloth sets the tone with the florals. Then add those ruffled placemats and napkins-gorgeous. The bunny napkin rings are so fun. Your plate stack is so pretty. I am swooning over your glassware. I may look for them to go with my desert rose dishes.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful table. Thanks for having us.
I apologize for being a tad late. I am on a transatlantic cruise. But needed to tell you how lovely your table is. Thank you for the inspiration.
What a sweet table! Pink & green are such a classic spring combo. Love it. Your table literally made me smile. Have a great day. XO-MaryJo @ masterpiecesofmylife.com
